Potential Openings:
Colorado Doorways is always looking for high-quality people to add to our team.  Our employees work in a wide range of fields from sales, purchasing, and accounting to shop personnel,  delivery drivers, and warehouse labor.  We are always interested in hearing from qualified people for any position including:

Salesman - Contract - Broad responsibility for all aspects of bidding, scheduling, and managing against a specified sales target, primarily in the contract marketplace on large projects, and also on other types of sales prospects.  Responsibility to manage members of the sales team, and to oversee cooperation and successful integration with all other company departments, to achieve the objectives of being an on-time and error-free supplier. Thorough and professional knowledge of all aspects of a door opening is required. 

Salesman - End User Sales - Responsible for dealing with a variety of lower volume customers, including smaller contractors, institutional accounts, and other resellers.  Thorough knowledge of door and hardware components and strong product knowledge are essential characteristics.

Project Manager - Provides management and oversight of specific projects after submittals have been approved. Tasks include review of contract documentation, coordination of all material purchasing, shop fabrication, and delivery scheduling, and extensive customer contact to answer questions and resolve issues and problems.  Project management task is not completed until final payment is received.

Project Detailer - Determines specific product information based on an examination of project plans and specifications.  This includes specific information related to each door opening, on the door frame, the door, and the door hardware.  This information is transferred to the door and frame scheduling database.  Extensive product knowledge and operating systems familiarity are required.

Driver - Operates a company owned vehicle (single axle, under 26,000 GVW, non-commercial license) on delivery routing primarily within the Denver Metro area or along the Front Range I-25 corridor, and occasionally throughout other areas of Colorado. Familiarity and understanding of maps and driving directions are required.  Responsible for loading of truck in cooperation with night shift, handling of delivery paperwork requirements, and cooperation with customers at job sites; responsible for safe operation of truck, including tying down the load and adherence to all traffic laws.  Position requires heavy lifting of 80-100 lbs.

Finisher - Using a grinder, palm sander, and air buffer, removes all welding slag and related marks, plus all scratches and other handling marks, from the faces of the frame, and then re-primes the frame with water-based primer paint.  Position requires heavy lifting of 80-100 lbs.

Door Tech - Wood Shop - Performs one or more tasks to machine wood doors as specified in a fabrication report, including sizing and beveling, undercutting, hinge and lock preparation, edge mortising, face hole prep, and glass light cutouts.  Doors can also be prehung in wood jambs.  Special millwork machinery is utilized for most of these operations, together with power hand tools.  Position requires heavy lifting of 80-100 lbs.
