Our Doorway Solutions division works exclusively with end user and wholesale customers. This market requires a different level of expertise and service capability and Doorway Solutions® was created with that in mind. Now, taking that even further, we have spun off the Doorways Solutions portion of our web site to its own space with content tailored to their customers. Take a look!

Colorado Doorways Featured Project, June 2006 - Denver Public Schools Bus Terminal

The northeast side of Denver near Stapleton is home to the new Denver Public Schools Northeast Bus Terminal, a replacement of an old terminal that the growing school district had outgrown.

The 34,000 square foot structure can house and provide service for up to 360 buses at a time. The $9 million project had an ambitious schedule, with a duration of six months from its start date. Naturally Colorado Doorways was the supplier chosen for this time senstitive project.

The terminal consists of two buildings. The fuel / wash building includes fuel pumps, offices and a bus wash bay. The main terminal has maintenance and emission bays, office space, dispatch, training rooms and a messanine and partial second floor that will house DPS security personnel.

When Denver Public Schools sought to build this facility, Colorado Doorways was the door and hardware supplier of choice.

Stanley Security Solutions BEST Access Division Announces IDH MAX Lock

Adding to its line of high quality mechanical and electronic access systems, Stanley Security Solutions, Inc., which provides access control and integrated security solutions, announced today the new IDH MAX® 1300 lock. Instead of installing reader devices, electrified strikes, door contacts and request to-exit devices (RQE), users can now install the BEST® IDH MAX® product in cylindrical or mortise lock applications.

The IDH MAX® 1300 system offers convenience and efficiency for electrical lock
applications. All of the formerly separate components required to control access,
including PIR, RQE push buttons, door contacts, and electric strike are now housed in a single, attractive hardware package with only the lockset being visible at the door. Even the Intelligent System Controller (ISC) is secured and out of site, embedded behind the escutcheon.
