Colorado Doorways Featured Project, October 2007 - Watermark Residences
Construction of the Watermark Residences in Denver's Historic Baker Neighborhood is well underway. Denver's Fentress Bradburn Architects collaborated with the Baker Neighborhood Association and Denver Landmark Commission to develop the details of the extraordinary project.
The 6,000 square foot Chittenden Mansion, built in 1901, is integrated into the design of the property. The materials and scale of the brownstone residences reflect an effort to ensure the historic value is retained. Watermark is designed to have the look and ambiance of a London or New York brownstone while ensuring it blends in nicely with the historic neighborhood.
When completed, there will be 90 units including 9 two-story brownstones, 7 penthouses and 74 flats ranging in size from 886 square feet to 3,800 square feet. Amenities include a Zen Garden, a two-level terraced rooftop garden, waterfall, spa, fitness center and a gourmet kitchen. There also will be a two-level, 146 space parking complex.
This important historic project required a door and hardware supplier that could appreciate the project's importance and provide the needed supplies to ensure the project maintained its exacting design standards. Colorado Doorways is pleased to be that supplier!
