Company NewsColorado Doorways Receives Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Certification
The FSC Chain of Custody Certification means that Colorado Doorways meets the strict tracking requirements for ensuring that products the company sells as FSC-certified come from a well-managed forest. Among other things, well-managed forests:
This certification will be appreciated by architects and contractors who specify green building products for environmentally-conscientious building owners. Chain of custody certification provides a guarantee about the production of FSC-certified products and certifies the path taken by raw materials from the forest to the consumer, including all successive stages of processing, transformation, manufacturing and distribution. Being FSC certified shows Colorado Doorways’ commitment to the environment and to the world in which we live and shows that we comply with the highest social and environmental standards on the market.
